  It’s TALEBLAZERS TIME!

  TALEBLAZERS is an annual event produced by the Young Alberta Book Society. Kathy is delighted to join the group of authors, illustrators, and storytellers, visiting schools and libraries across the province during the month of October. This year’s tour takes Kathy to the Calgary region.

  Northern Alberta Library Tour, 2024

  Kathy heads up to the county of Grande Prairie for several storytelling performances in October. Hosted by local libraries, she will share stories with K-9 students in La Glace, Valhalla, Hythe, and Elmworth. Driving over 1200 kilometres down rural roads, Kathy’s storytelling motto “Have Mouth – Will Travel” is truth in action!

  Family Storytelling Nights: March 14 & April 4

  Kathy is presenting 2 storytelling shows for families at the Alberta Avenue Community Centre.
  Her March 14th performance features stories with a “green” theme, and on April 4th will Kathy share some of her original stories as well as a beautiful kindness tale from India. Both shows are FREE, thanks to funding from the Young Alberta Book Society’s community FLY program!

  Cenovus WORDPOWER Tour

  It’s WORDPOWER time! This annual tour is produced by the Young Alberta Book Society, and sponsored by Cenovus Energy.  Kathy is thrilled to be among the local authors, illustrators, and storytellers, visiting schools & libraries in north-eastern Alberta. Although she’s been on the WORDPOWER tour many times, this week-long performance whirlwind remains one of Kathy’s favourite  performance gigs each year!
