Kathy is thrilled to join Judith Poirier at of one of Quebec’s oldest storytelling festivals! Together they’ll cross a storytelling bridge connecting East/West, Franco/Anglo- and that’s only the beginning.
From busy Montreal to the vastness of BC’s northern Rockies, the threads of their experiences are woven together, with family memories, traditional tales, and of course a few songs to complete the tapestry. Through this work-in-progress, the audience enjoys a peek into their bilingual creative process, and an opportunity to join in a feedback discussion afterwards. Kathy and Judith’s project is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts Research and Creation program. Kathy’s presence at this festival benefits from a travel grant from the same council.

*Kathy will also be performing at a solo festival set in Stanstead QC on October 19th.
