Kathy Jessup began her public career as a broadcast journalist with CBC radio. One day, she attended her first storytelling concert, and from that moment on — she was hooked! Kathy began writing stories for children, and was soon touring and performing at libraries, schools, concerts and festivals across Canada. Although much of Kathy's time is spent entertaining young children, she also enjoys telling stories to teens and adults. Some of her work has been published, and her CD of original stories LISTEN UP! Tellable Tales for Hungry Ears is recommended by the Canadian Children's Book Centre Guide: Best Books for Kids and Teens. In addition to storytelling, Kathy's creative writing workshops are very popular with teachers and students.
